The initiative “CAPACITY4EU – Civil Society for EU Accession” brought together representatives of civil society, local authorities, and public institutions in Florești on May 26 for a Policy Dialogue. The event is part of a national series of regional dialogues aimed at promoting civic participation and informing local communities about the EU accession process of the Republic of Moldova.
The CAPACITY4EU initiative hosted a Policy Dialogue in Taraclia, bringing together civil society activists, youth leaders, local officials, and mayors from surrounding communities to address Moldova’s path toward European Union integration.
This event provided a platform for open and inclusive debate on Moldova’s strategic direction in the current complex geopolitical context. Participants engaged in robust discussions on both the opportunities and challenges associated with the EU accession process.
A new edition of the #CAPACITY4EU Policy Dialogue was held on February 8th in Ciadîr-Lunga, bringing together young people and local public authorities. The event, organized in partnership with the Center for Civic Initiatives for National Minorities, provided a platform for open discussions on the challenges and opportunities Moldova faces on its path to European Union accession.
The Exchange Lab, an event dedicated to civil society representatives from Germany and the Republic of Moldova, took place in Chisinau on 12 December. The exchange contributed to an informed dialogue about the Republic of Moldova in the areas of EU communication, migration, foreign policy and countering disinformation. It also offered the opportunity for further networking between German and Moldovan civil society.

The 2nd Policy Dialogue within the project “CAPACITY4EU – Civil Society for EU Accession” held on October 3rd in Falesti, gathered over 40 Mayors of villages in Falesti region, representatives of the regional public administration, regional executive committees, local public authorities and civil society.

The Institute for European Policies and Reforms (IPRE) and the Institute for Strategic Initiatives (IPIS) launched, on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, during a public event, the social campaign “Protect the future”, which aims to create the resilience of young families in the Republic of Moldova to the existing wave of disinformation.
